Challenge #202 and ATC Swap

Challenge #202

The Diva's Challenge (here) this week was to use only Chebucto and Copada.  This was really challenging and both of these tangles are more border tangles than tangles to fill areas with.  So, I went with a Bijou again (2x2") and am not thrilled with it, but it will have to do :)

ATC Swap

I'm finished with my ATCs for the swap.  As I was running out of time and ended up throwing away a couple that didn't cooperate :), I grabbed some I had done before and some half-way done and finished them.  I hope you enjoy them.

  1. I like the bijou tile. If turned sideways it would almost look like a bow tie. With the current orientation it reminds me of balancing boulders. Your ATC's are fantastic, such vision.

  2. Wow, your ATCs are beautiful. All those variations on trees are so different yet all so well-drawn and coloured.

  5. I received two of these ATC's in your line-up today from Mark Montano's swap. I posted yours along with a link on my blog and my atc's are in another post below. Did you get one of mine? Thanks for participating in Mark's swap. It was fun to see where all of the cards came from. Have a great week! =0)

  6. Hi Rushd Lady, I checked out your blogs, and ATCs :) Very nice! I got my ATCs from the swap back yesterday, but have not had much time to really look at them yet. I know I have a couple of duplicate ones, and... no, none from you! I was thinking that maybe there weren't enough people so he had to give some people duplicates, but, if I didn't get one from you, then that was not it :). I hope you enjoy the ones you got.

  7. What is an ATC? Marta - how do I buy some of your original work? I LOVE some of your art. I want some bigger pieces...but original. What do you think? Is it possible somehow?

    1. Hi April :). An ATC is an Artist Trading Card; these are 2.5 x 3.5 " pieces (size of a playing card), so very small; lots of people collect them. If you want a larger piece, let me know something similar you like and the size you are looking for. I can create a couple of them that size of the same style, and then you can buy one of you like. Does that work? I will send you a message in case you don't see this :)

I participated in the Mark Montano swap as well and I got the fifth ATC you have listed here. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! It's one of my very favorite cards that I received. Looking at your blog is so inspirational. Consider me a new regular reader!!!
